Creativity in philately does not end at stamps with different scents or tastes. Many countries have issued stamps decorated with embroidery. These embroidered stamps feature national landmark or any specific identity of the respective nation.Teddy Bear is an international figure adored by kids as well as adults in certain cases. Sierra Leone released a stamp depicting teddy bear. Switzerland issued a unique design offering weaving and needle technique of design on a satin base.
Austria Post has issued a miniature sheet which has Petit Point embroidered flower “Rose” in the centre of the paper sheet. Republic of Taiwan presents the most beautiful embroidered stamp. The stamps features traditional cloth embroidered with birds and flowers pattern.
